My new favorite author, Stephenie Meyer, was working on a re-telling of "Twilight" from her main male protagonist, Edward's, p.o.v. called "Midnight Sun". The Twilight fan-base was really looking forward to this getting inside Edward's heard. Unfortunately, this book is apparently no longer going to be completed.

I went to the midnight release party at Grant Park McNally Robinson last night with a couple of my TM friends. Miss E and Miss S from work went to Chapters in PP but Miss J did show up at GP and stop to say hello around 10:15pm or so.

We drove back to the MoA around 5am and back up to the east-entrance. Kevin parked the van on the side of the road and we all unloaded out lawn-chairs, blankets (it was cold during the wee-hours of the day…but got really nice out later on!), books & magazines.
